I can't keep up.....

Monika has become the social butterfly of Vietnam and I can't quite keep up on blogging about the happenings around here. This week we have had two days of holidays. Tuesday was Liberation Day and Wednesday was International Labor Day. It has been nice to have a few days with Troy around. Here are some pics of the past week:

Sunday -

Like a natural....scootering to church with the rest of the locals.

Monday - The second night Monika was in town, she and Troy went out to do some prospecting for business. Moni met a cute group of girls and instantly hit it off. They've been going out for the past few nights together.

New found friends in Vietnam!

Troy chauffeuring the girls around town. Notice Moni wearing Drey's helmet :)

Dinning on the street....seafood on the grill.

Troy was not down with street food so he and Moni walked around the corner and found a crepe shop.

However, she did try one of these slimy delights.

Tuesday -  Liberation Day Holiday, all the girls met at our place for NuSkin facial treatments and a pool day!

Never, ever, never,  did I think I'd see the day of Troy doing facials for women. He's the one usually requesting the pampering. I like this role reversal :)

Dinner at El Gato Negro Burrito

Drey showing Auntie Moo the way to his mouth.

We walked around town after dinner to enjoy the celebrations of Liberation Day in Vietnam....huh?
Wednesday - Ben Thanh market.

Drey looking for the candy.

Sooo Cool...sportin' his new glasses.

It was incredibly hot. Trying to cool Enzo down,  he doesn't handle the heat well.

A successful day at the markets. Moni said numerous times...."it's like playing with monopoly money"

All this for 1.4 million..... what a steal!

Heading out for their Wednesday night meeting.
One week down and going strong!
